A sleek, user-friendly interface for a retail platform’s automation creation page, enabling retail agents to build and manage customer engagement workflows. The project focused on an automations screen featuring card-based campaign boards with a dynamic benefits side sheet.
The goal was to create a modern, intuitive experience that balances functionality with a clean aesthetic, adhering to brand colors and industry standards.

Automations Boards: Designed cards for triggers (e.g., “Join Loyalty Group”) and actions (e.g., “Get 10X points”), with color-coded icons for clarity (grey for triggers, blue for actions).
Benefits Side Sheet: Implemented a two-state side sheet (hinted, visible) for quick benefit selection.
Navigation: Enhanced the header with a “Benefits” tab for deeper reward management, complementing the side sheet for multitasking.
Approach:
Conduct a comparative analysis of automation platforms like Zapier, Shopify Flow, Trello, and Apollo to inform design decisions. Prototype responsive layouts, test color treatments (e.g., monochromatic triggers vs. blue actions), and iterate based on mockup feedback. The final design prioritized glanceability with A/S/L circular badges indicators (Automate, Sale, Limited).
